But in multi-mode you don't need to touch the pillars to go to the ruins. You just have to get through the mines. In order to get to hard multi-mode you all will have to be at a certain level I guess lv.20 or higher.

well he said he couldn't get it on multimode so I just told him what I have observed when playing on single player. I never ran into that difficult he mentioned though because I;m always ahead of my friends.
