Who resembles from PSO the Acrotecher? & Acrotecher is for all races
#1
Note: I really don't know where to place this class in the class forums. We may do an Acrobat section LOL. Acrotecher is a mix of all 3. (Use melee, ranged, TECHs and place traps)

I think the answer is the HUnewearl. I'm trying it now and it's the closest feel to my HUnewearl in PSO about gameplay.

Why? Well

1. When getting a TECH casting speed unit, is the same as PSO, seems HUnewearls get boosted more than FOnewearls. Same happens here with the Acro class boost + Quick units boost.

2. You actually fight melee, You hit stronger with a blade than with a spell, concentrate in buffing and debuffing before facing off the enemy. As WTs Shift/Roman-Cancelling works really cool at this.

3. As same as two, TECH fighting, well you got an uber l33t TP (240% your ATP in comparison if newman), but the elemental damage reduction has nerfed the force even more than they are (I'm referring for any force using class except Fortetecher, like Guntecher and Wartecher). So basically you use TECHs when needed, the best two examples are using simple techs on phyisically resistant mobs and for example, if you get sorrounded by 2 or more monster instead of attacking with your saber you can start nuking your Ra and Gi techs.

4. Seems that Whips got some animation imperfections that if you use a large robe like suit it should burn/cut as you move your whip! So basically the best fitting in look for whip are HUnewearls than FOnewearls lol! although is cool to see a FOnewearl looking like person using it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Actually the acrotecher (Who's best race for it?) is basically answered that there is no race specialized for it. Newmans get the ATP boost... making it slightly good as humans in the term of melee fighting.

What changes in the race is the gameplay only...

Well instead of comparing the races... Let's compare the roles and their priorities...

Priority 1: Support

Same for all races, it doesnt change that your buff are stronger or weaker same as debuff depending on your race. But your main priority as the AT is too keep all the players buff and all the mobs debuffed (if it is soloing, mind of debuffing, works a lot)

Priority 2: Healing

ATs have fast healing, that's why now all the other classes will depend on your heals. Making AT the best healer. (takes 0.3 seconds to a resta to work, 0.7 interval between restas, which is needed if you are healing a beast FF). Don't get Resta Happy as AT, Resta cost 50 TP at lvl 21+. Heal when 50% less HP, 65% if it is a FT.

First place is for newman, even using a mag, their heals are around 2k per swing. The only time you need to do two swings is to fully heal a Beast lvl 110 FF, which first resta restores 85% their HP, the second the remaining 15%.

Second Human, with only one resta they can heal completely any force and ranger type class, but hunter classes will require two spellcastings.

Third beast and CASTs: They are not bad healers, but players cannot rely them for good healings specially when facing enemies whose attacks do more than 1700 damage, examples, De Rol Le, Dulk Fakis and Golden Svaltus. In lvl 90 they heal around 1K per swing, which is good for soloing or restoring while running, but not good since it's not fast enough during a boss fight (you get stuck healing party members while you should be fighting and as K_I_R_E_E_K says, the longer the fighter gets, the bigger the danger becomes).

Priority 3: Combat.

Your combat style must be HYBRID. You will have to combine at least two gameplays together if you want to be a good AT, since parties would like if you fight instead of just stay behind healing and buffing and debuffing, specially in boss fights.

Well let's get started.

Human first:

Awfully good fighters, and combine well the healings, as newman, excellent for soloing, but as them, they require for soloing an awfully good gear (saying like, 20%+ element armors, 35%+ Element based weapons of all elements, have a good selections of skills, bullets and TECHs). Their main weapon is the Saber, slightly use the Whip as secondary weapon and the TECHs as terciary. Actually in short, is like saying, Human is Paladin, Newman is Monk.

Newmans now:

Best at TECH nuking, same strategy as Humans, Except that instead of being better at soloing mobs as humans are they are better for soloing bosses. There you'll go to start nuking your simple techs from range, having maxed simple TECHs is a must as Newman, that makes newman the best boss killer in the ATs selection. AT is the 4th Best Boss killer of the game (First is FF, second is FG, third is AF). In normal mobbing, we concentrate on TECH spam, nuking, etc (Why not saber for normal combat if it does more damage? Well becuz TECHs are ranged). When we are facing a mental resistant mobs, here we pull out the saber (Only if you learned Spinning strike from Tonnio, If not go dagger) if it is a single mob that is best weapon to take them one by one, except if it is a midboss. Whips goes same if the mentally resistant mobs are, 1. Moving in a large group as a caraban, 2. is a monster with more than one hit spot, monster not bosses! Never forget being buff and debuff, shift/roman-cancel works a lot. Newman is the one who got the hardest way to play, but has no weaknesses, even if we face a Gaozoram, we can pull out the mechgun or the dual guns and make them our ******.

CASTs:

CAST has excellent ATA as AT, same reason I love newmans =), never miss at lvl 90+ even if it is a force class, that means, that you focus on using your saber, forget about TECHS you are TEH CAST! Have 2 slots for buffing and debuffing, 2 for melee weapons, then 2 for dual guns and mechgun (Not Xbow, That is for FG/GT/FI). The difficulty added for CAST is that to replace the weak spot that is the debuffing TECH nuking does you can use your whip for implementing debuffing (yup whip does debuff depending on the status) like parlysing, silence, confusion or infection, there is no burn or freeze since there are no ice/fire whips in the game. Have Freeze Traps G, You won't like the monster to move from target zone when you are about to pull the SUV!

Beasts:

Beasts are the best AoE, Massive damage with whips when buffed, try maxing out the buffs and debuffs (lvl 40), otherwise it is better being a Beast WT to do this. Sabers when only there is one monster that doesnt have more than 1 hit spot. the rest is same strategy as CAST, pull out guns when facing Gaozorams/Jigzaras. I almost forgot! For now Beasts ATs are not good for AoE solo, they require at least 1 or 2 more Beasts AT to outmatch the well known 3 FT Super AOE. But soon beast will do fine by AoE soloing with the new outcoming PA (I don't know when it release but I'm deffinitively getting it)
