Dark Flow is not a legitimate weapon, period. <.< Even on Schthack's server. As it is a drop that was disabled officially, any way of obtaining it makes it an illegitimate weapon.

SEGA abandoned PSOBB, they no longer control the legitimacy of items, "period". SEGA/Sonic Team made a lot of horrible game-balance mistakes, and a lot of stupid decisions. I don't think we should idolize their opinion of what is 'legit' and what is not just because they made the game

Whoever owns a certain server controls what is legit on 'that' server. What SCHTHack implemented is not legit on SEGA servers, and some weapons that are legit on SEGA are not legit on SCHTHack. There no one single legit, legitimacy differs from server to server.

Official versions of what is legit = for official server (dead)
SCHTHack versions of what is legit = for unofficial server (alive)

Anyway, something no one has pointed out:

At point blank range when lined up correctly - the special attack of Dark Flow hit's the enemy four times with hard attack damage. That is; it hits every enemy struck by the special attack four times at once. With hard attack damage. This is usually enough to OHKO most ultimate mode enemies :x

And the fact it can hit four times in a single slash nullifies the fact it can't combo, pure and simple. The only problem is that you need to be pretty amazing to stay alive at the HP required to activate the special. Also since it can be built with ridiculous amounts of hit% easily the special won't be missing much.
