one is whether you can get enemy parts on normal because I know I got a gras assassin's arms on normal but is the chance greater on later difficulties?

Congrats, the drop rate is not easy, but schthack drop rates are a tiny bit different.
Now, on later difficulties as far as i can see the drop rates do tend to get better, hard mode the drop rates get alot better and in vhard they usually improve just a bit, however there are some exceptions like the pan arm's arms, in this case yellowboze gets the best drop rate in hard mode, while the drop rate for yellowboze and several more ids get worse in ultimate mode.
