I'm gonna suggest the yunchang, slightly faster than swords, being a partisan, its fairly strong and has beserk, which is awesome when used carefully 
most swords i use i do so because of how they look rather than usefulness, so you'd more likely see me with a dragon slayer over a red sword, fo example :3
oh, and s-ranks are great, very powerful with some fancy special options, you can't really go wrong there
