anybody want to start a PBP RPG of some sort?
#1
okay. Maybe I'm just wasting time here but it's worth a shot. Has anybody here ever played a tabletop RPG like dungeons and dragons or something similar? If not does anybody WANT to play?

This method is called PBP. It goes much slower than any real game because some players don't have as much time to get on the boards. If you're interested in this here's a link for the SRD of 3.5, a character builder for both and I need to find the summary for 4th edition. http://www.d20srd.org/ http://www.pathguy.com/cg35.htm http://www.wizards.com/dnd/TryDnD.aspx http://www.pathguy.com/cg4.htm 3.5 SRD, CHaracter generator, 4th edition rules and 4th edition character creator.. Big Grin If you want to ask questions about character optimization I suggest you go here. http://www.giantitp.com/forums/ Almost everybody here is civil and will answer your question to the best of their ability. There are a few bad apples but not too many. Just remember that Politics, Religion and real life laws discussions are illegal. I know. they take away all the fun.

Unless somebody has any objections I'd be willing to be the dungeon master. If there's somebody here with more experience by all means step up. the dungeon master controls the Badguys. However he also makes the campaign and controls the NPCs whether good or bad.

I have a few of my own rules for ANY campaign I run but first a few people have to be remotely interested first. If you have a request for something you don't want in a campaign (I.E sappy love stories, evil PCs ETC) I run you can post here or PM me. Any other concerns you can also IM me.

most of the things I explained are just in case somebody doesn't know about them. I imagine some of you don't. Any other questions feel free to PM me, message here or IM me. I'm on my AIM most of the day.
RIP nomercy.
