ummm junon, you could never have equivalent ATP as a HUmar of the same level, your base atp would max and then it wouldnt matter what you equip because your atp would only go to a certain point, as far as i know, the srank twin cannot be equipped by FOs but if it can be, that give you +610 or is it +650 atp. Then with your shifta, you MIGHT just be able to break around 2000, whereas without Shifta i already have 2025. If i were to knock off 30 levels i would have 1885 without shifta sooooo yeah. I mean, like ive said and you can plainly see, ive raised 2 FOs to high levels and i own with magic (grant it i use the Newms) but a FOmar doesnt have much more max atp than the FOnewm, the FOnewm is even labeled the "melee FO" by the game itself. The FOnewm with all the same equipment is good, but you still dont have the Def or Hp to go running into a group of monsters. Melee isnt all about having strength, its about Def, hp, and most of all strategy. Online, you have no buffer time after youre hit, you keep taking hits, of which 2 or 3 would kill you because about 6 kill me with 1548 hp and like 800 something defense. Resta takes to long to cast when youre surrounded and you quickly die. Boss fights may just knock you off all together, if you dont have at least 1200 hp, falz's rabarta will kill you in one hit if you have a group of 4 (or are playing TTF).
EDIT: also junon, FOmars do not get attack magic boosts, that would be the FOnewm, the only boost a FOmar gets is SD. Nothing else... and on ult you guys seem to forget that magic sucks more or less. My FOnewm with maxed mst, and psycho wand can only do about 500 with rafoie to monsters in the forest. Good for forest but it quickly declines to about 350 to ruins monsters. Thats about 6-7 rafoies per wave and even with maxed mst (and tp upwards of 2700), i run low on TP and i can get quickly surrounded, especially if i were trying to melee and FOmars have less hp than FOnewms sooo yeah...
