In fact in the long run your artwork threads will gain more appreciated views in the fan works forum. There are a couple of reasons for this:
One being that there are always new threads being created in the lobby of which will move your thread into the archives alot quicker.
The next being that if people visit the forums with the intention of actually looking at peoples artwork to get ideas or comment on the artists talent they will primarily goto the artwork forum. So it benefits the poster themselves by attracting viewers who are genuinely interested and the vistors by making their life easier to find more relevant content.
