Resist/Freeze only raises your cold resist...kind of a waste when all you really have to do is jiggle the control stick REALLY fast...Playing Mario Party helps here.
Wow Mario Party actually helped me in another game...odd. But you do break out of ice faster if you move the Control Stick around more. Typically you stay frozen for about....oh say 4-6 seconds. With moving you get a 2-3 second freeze.
