Anyhow, I would assume for AOL your ID is your email. For example, [email protected], and then your password that you use to go on the internet. And you don't have to fill up all slots. You use the number you dial to get online, and you can use secondary numbers as well. (If you know them) If you don't call your ISP, and they can help you.
