umm FF11 is sometimes compared to EQ. Heres FF11 in a nutshell. The world is gigantic (ive played for about 100 hours and have traversed MAYBe 5-10% of the world). Monsters roam everywhere except town, early on, the monsters only fight you if you attack them in some way first however later monsters "aggro" (meaning the get aggression and attack you) by either sight, sound, or scent (depending on the monster). Once a fight is intiated, only you and/or your party can touch the monster (unless youre about to die and you call for help, in which case no one gets exp but you dont die which is good because you lose exp when you die). From what I've seen, the game has no driving story, you just kinda level up but then again, as i said, ive only seen about 5-10% of the game. I do know for a fact there is no final boss yet however, the level cap is only set at 75 (meaning you cant level past that for now) so the game isnt done yet, SquareEnix updates it constantly. There are numerous job classes, each of which level up (like when you gain a level, its only on that job, which is good because it offers more playing time, like right now im a level 18 warrior and a a level 14 White Mage-after 100+ hours of playing
) and once you get to level 30 you can go on quests to get more job classes (SquareEnix will probably add more, but there are 14 or 15 jobs out right now). If theres anything else you wanna know, just ask.

PSO is a game of my past but those I came in contact with are still a part of me.
