My ps2 just stopped playing dvds also... I asked the people at Gamestop and they told me to try to take a can of pressurized air and blow that on the vents... They told me it could have been from just using the dvd player too much as the laser will burn out *which it did.. ><* or long extended usage.. Someone in my family left it running for hours and forgot to turn it off.. >< This is just great.. >< Oh well.. I can sell it to Electronics Boutique for $70 and buy a used one for $100.. >< $30 loss but I want my dvds back..
