How do I get a high Rank?

I've seen (and played alongside) twinbanj and immeyournot battleing and i've found there are two ways of getting a good rank e.g A, A+ or S
these are:

1. do lots of damage in a short time i.e about 60 total damage in 10 minuites

2. do lots and lots of damge i.e 100+ in about half and hour and kill lots of stuff, about 15 items/monsters.

immeyournot calls it "20 - minuite S" and it actually works (use big things like chaos sorcerers for lots of damage, then combine them with concentration for damge of 20+ each turn!)
