Heh, I use a digital camera. Make sure you have good resolution. And makes sure you take the picture so you can see some surrondings of the TV. (This helps make the image brighter) Then you can use paint to scale the image and smallen it. 
The ones that say ©Sonic Team or so on, are taken in the game. (Create a snapshot file on the second memory card. Then upload it to your computer using Kefka's guide. (Like I said you'll need DSL/Broaband for this)
