Xbox has worse graphics than GC, but less slowdown in offline multimode.
Xbox has voice chat, which is both a good and bad point.
Xbox servers are not linked and they get updates much later than the GC ones.
Xbox has a smaller community (not just on jp servers) and a bigger cheater to legit ratio.
Xbox has a much smaller cmode community than GC due to the lack of legits and lack of people in general.
Xbox does not have a second game that is linked with Ep1&2 (Ep3).
GC has FSOD-X and as such, a higher chance of corruption.
GC requires a kb to be able to communicate easier.
GC has Vega.
GC requires multiple memory cards to have over 4 characters.

Everyone that I know who has experienced the Xbox version has preferred the GC. The only people I tend to see saying that the Xbox version is superior are people who bought PSOX as their first ever PSO and have never really played GC enough.

In my clan are three DC veterans who went to Xbox from DC, but then moved to GC due to the lack of a decent community there and the other aforementioned reasons. I also have a friend who left GC for Xbox, but then came back to GC within a few months due to the lack of decent people on it. I have yet to hear of anyone leaving GC for Xbox and staying there.

That is my personal experience though, so perhaps I just happen to have avoided people who found Xbox to be superior to GC? :wacko:

1)lol, Xbox has worse graphics... oh yeah I forgot GC get an extra effect with their telepipes!!! Woaa thats worth the purchase.
2) There are no bad sides to voice chat, because you can voice ban people who are being annoying. However, there are always bad sides to keyboards, breaks up the play!
3) The servers being separated are a good thing in my opinion. there are enough people playing in seperate servers where I play, joining servers would be pointless. Rememebr how bad DC was with servers joined?? I would rather stick with individual servers.
4) where is your evidence to prove that there is a bigger cheat ratio??? This has immediately lost you any credability you had in your argument by making such obserd statements!
5) Ep 3 does not come into it. We are discussing EP 1 and 2 here.
6) I am afraid that your friends actions doesnt mean you can generalise your opinion to the whole of the PSO community. I know many people who have come from GC to XBox because of the cheating and hacking in the GC version and the ability to chat!
7) Perhaps I just happen to have avoided people who found GC to be superior to XBox? :wacko:
