people who ask for 10p are not "townies" as you call em, there skag heads who are on hard drugs and have money in note form on them, the reason they need 10p is to phone there dealer.
i turned around from a cashpoint machine once with about 50 quid in my hand and sum guy sed "ave you got 20p mate" i sed no, put my money in my pocket and walked off. now they really are the scum
