The chance on getting those parts is very slim... I can't tell the exact number... but you've gotten lucky imo.
As soon as you come in the hard mode you'll start finding rare items... you can find some in the normal mode but those are almost impossible to get. Greenill will start off finding rare Rifles and Redria will start off with Slicers (Ep I) and Shots (Ep II). Later one Redria will find rare units more often, by that I mean in the Very Hard mode and Ultimate.
