Pinkal does not find rods, Uly Tongue

Bluefull is the ID with rods, Yellowboze has some, too.

As for rare rods, for a start Hildebear and Hildeblue's cane are good, and can be found on several IDs; Striker of Chao is not really an issue, Psycho Wand is easiest in Purplenum, still a crazy drop, Sorcerer's Cane is best hunt in Yellowboze, several IDs get Caduceus and Demonic Fork.
