I have a wavebird because it makes my tv look neater becasue gamecube can stay in my cubored 
Its actually lighter than the orginal controler becasue the rumble motors have been removed. I personally prefer the shape of the wave bird to the original 1 as it has a better shape to rest in hand. Buy Buy Buy i say
