if you say that geist vulcans do 6% nine times i'll believe you but the tp recharge i've always gotten seemed more like 2% nine times :S - my RAmar using a geist gatling had about 250 tp and was getting +5tp with each of the nine hits and +15tp with each of the three hits with a geist railgun
and also... mags with 188 DEX are also very good things, yes, 188 may be a little overboard but if you need it to equip a hp or tp recharge weapon and and not get misses all the time it's worth it
the shifta/deband is one of the better moves for a mag too in general because half the classes can't use those moves at all and it can be used in multiplayer to do pb combo attacks, for example the dolphin and the shifta/deband done at the same time does alot more damage, and does a really strong shifta and deband on both the characters, furthermore, when used in a chain of pb attacks the it can do a shifta/deband that's as strong as a lvl 50 would be if there was such a thing; the other mag moves all suck anyway, the snake doesn't do enough damage, the moose only hits one enemy, and the resta... just use a trimate
one time i had a low level FOnewearl, something like 20 or so, with 4 elf/arms and one of those mags she could use the inferno bazooka, didn't do much damage but could use the special pretty well and it was cool because they're supposed to be around lvl 180 before they could use that
right now i have a RAmar, he's lvl 70 and his ATA is maxed, he uses a dark raygun can take out 95% of the enemies in very hard with a three part special attack combo
the point of having an all DEX mag is to get the specials to hit, the regular and heavy attacks hit well enough on their own. to "deliver the punch", as you said, a force is supposed to use techs not weapons, which is why a mag and weapon that allow you to recharge tp easily are good things for forces. if my suggesting that mag offended you in some way i'm sorry but i still think that DEX mags are great
now that that's over, i didn't know that the mahu attacks multiple enemies so thanks for telling me that because that does make it seem better than a raygun
