These are just a couple concerns I have with ultimate mode. I've been up to Mines with my Ranger, who is now level 86, and didn't have too many problems. But my HUmar, level 66 now, still has problems. The biggest problem is horrible accuracy - I can't go on a decent rappy hunt because half the time I miss, even with an Elf/Arm++ and now a second Elf/Arm. The thing is, I'll admit that I don't totally understand what causes you to miss (logically, I mean... "miss" sign versus physical miss). My guess is, it has to do with your ATA versus your enemy's EVP, right? I've noticed how, when facing other Hunters, they'll block a lot, and it shows up as a "miss." That and the fact that this character can hit decently in VHard, but not in Ultimate, suggests that these enemies have higher EVP, right? I just didn't notice with my ranger because, well, he's a ranger.
He doesn't have accuracy problems. Basically, I'm asking, is this correct? If so, it'll fix itself over time as I level up, correct?
My other question is about bosses. With my HUmar I managed to beat the Sil Dragon already (I wasn't even expecting to, heh). But I don't plan to attempt the caves until I can hit decently in the forest. When I faced Dal Ra Lie with my ranger, I was carrying a Gulity Light which made the battle a lot easier. What would be a good attack strategy for a Hunter? Slicers from afar, and Partisans on his non-head portions when he's on the barge, would that work?
And one more thing: is Vol Opt V2 a whole lot harder, or is he still the easiest boss? Is there anything I need to look out for when I try this boss?
