So far in the forest I've found at least two Diska of Bravemans from Bartles, and two from the Sil Dragon... it's the best of the three "common" slicers (especially since the first one I picked up had 45% native, yay). And yes, pipe for Pal Rappies to find Red Handguns, as they are cool. *Found his Red Handgun without piping* 
If you want a Red Saber, as I do, you won't like the "1/900 from Tollaw" any more than I did. But if you're set on getting one with that character, try Soul of a Blacksmith - there are plenty of Tollaws in that quest.
Hm, yes. I was given a God/Battle a few weeks ago, but I need to go get me some more for my other characters... luckily I had just played Native Research on a whim the other day so I can fight plenty of (ugh) Hildelts.
