Well....too much negative data would cause a lock up ina regular hacked game. I would think the same applies to PSO.
I.e things that are meant to be extremely powerful = negative data. The console is straining to process all that data FOR ONE object, so you can continue using such and such object. When coupled with several objects, the game will freeze. And that's how it was back in the old version of Game Shark days.
