It's cause you listen to the mainstream rap. The stuff on the radio is pure garbage. If you listen to the underground rappers, it's more into the roots of hip-hop.

When i listened to some stuff like that, it was about violence, (this was proper underground rap/hip-hop)

Anyway, I prefer metal to anything, i feel that there is more meaning to the music

I dont hate rap, aslong as it has meaning, that isnt to do with drug dealing and violence.
Anyway, one of my friends likes snoop dog, jay-z so they have grown on me, so has Nas, the main reason he has is because of the song he did with KoRn called "play me", and KoRn are my favourite band
