Nope, theres no silencing that voice. But what's not to love with the robotic announcer...it gives the game a technological feel to it. Now where would the game be without a monotone robot to tell you what youre doing in the round.(Dinging or beeping sounds instead? No thanks!) It does seem a little useless, but it can't be that annoying seeing that he only says one word when turn phases change...give the guy a little slack, where else would a voice like that fit in?
