Just to update everyone: our Son has now received a permenant (at least that's what she has said) ban from playing PSO1,2 and 3 online. He was allowed back online recently and went straight back to hanging out with Hackers, Dupers and FSODers. His Mum does not wish to risk her Hunters Licence, nor does she wish to see his actions corrupt other peoples memory cards. It was the boasting about getting loads of hacked and tweaked items, boasting about the Unsealed J-Sword and Dark Flow (with ridiculous percentages) and also claiming that a level 1304 Mag was legit that nailed the final nail in his online gaming coffin.

As for comments about me being cool etc at 33: I grew up with the Commodore 64 generation - and I loved computer games then. My partner grew up with the NES, SNES and Megadrive. Just because we are now parents and 30+ does not mean that we should lead a dull life watching Soaps, reading the Sun (sic) and discussing the latest reality tv show.

We both still hit the nightclubs (Goth and Metal/Rock) when we can get someone to look after the kids. We both play games on the PC and Gamecube and we still give fun frivilous pressies on birthdays etc (not socks or useful household items for the kitchen). You can only get old and boring if you give in to the pressure of what everyone expects of older people. We like to live life and enjoy, to hell with what everyone else thinks.
