Yeah, as Sesshomaru said, the earthquake was almost unimaginalbe being that high on the Ricter Scale, but the Tsunami wasn't all that bad it's just all those islands are so close to sea level 30 feet is practically the tallest point on any one of those islands; and yes the casulties have reached the upper 150's and lower 160's thousands. Quite a natural disaster. Imagine if the quake had been closer to land it would have torn the islands apart and then sent the tsunami to wash what was left away, or had the wave used up to the full potential of that quake the results could have been, and, would have been much, much, worse. The casulties would have been unimaginable.
