Beat time won't affect drop rates.
DB's Swords can be found in all IDs bar Viridia, so it would help us if you told us what ID(s) you're refering to.
DB's Swords only drop in Ultimate.
Only the one in Yellowboze (from a Claw in Ruins, not rare at all) is worth using, the others suck and are here for collectors.
If you're Purplenum or Whitill, forget about them, the versions of the DB's Swords in those IDs are insanely rare.
