Will it be on the Gamecube... NO! The userbase just isn't big enough to make it worth while for Sega to port it over.
Now seeing a port of it for the N-Revolution... there's always a possibility. I'm sure Sega is going to need a way to draw in extra revunue. But, I don't see a point of porting it to the next gen Nintendo system unless it has a built in ethernet adaptor, a good keyboard THAT IS EASY TO GET AND NOT JUST SOLD IN JAPAN, and hype!
I'm sure most of you can understand the built in ethernet and an easy to get keyboard. Having to hunt down a BBA(I know in North America you can get them from nintendo.com but I'm not paying almost $50 for one when you add in the S&H) and paying US$80 for the Nintendo ASCII keyboard isn't fun... or your keyboard alternative the $20 Datel Powerboard which is the biggest piece of **** I've bought in the last year!
But why hype? When Nintendo said they were working with Sega on a online game that was it... after that, so much time went by that most people I knew could have cared less, especially a few months later when it was annouced that it was a remake of PSO for GameCube. It didn't matter that it had extra content. Most people by that time just didn't care! If Sega hyped it like no tomorrow to draw in new users, redid the game engine to take advantage of the system(PSO looks great but it could have looked even better on the Cube if they had taken the time), threw in a keyboard with the package... then it would be worth porting it!
