From what I hear, it always freezes, has a chance of freezing you, and it only fires one time in a "combo." The latter is why I don't want it (that and the fact that it requires 45 PD's to get the Photon Booster); I don't really care about the freezing because I have a cure/freeze, but... I couldn't stand a one-combo gun, really. Although it's supposed to be good for rangers who want to be support... but then again, the FS works almost as well. When I went online the other day, I played a couple games with my RAmar and the FS was very helpful (although trying to play PW1 was a mistake
