Right, like I said if they have a double saber there's not much more you need. Her partisan animation is a bit slower than the males' also. But all that means is a slower last hit and a subsequent counter attack. Which with S/D means you get hit and take a step back, that's all. If he goes with single player,then, as I said, by all means choose a FOmar. But if he plans on playing with a team then use a FOmarl.
