weird keyboard mapping?

okay first off....

I GOT MY KEYBOARD!!!...... *calms*

sorry bout that, and now onto the question, does anyone else have a probplem with the key mapping on they're keyboard, cuz for somes reason '*' on the Numpad is ':' and alot of the keys dont have fuctions :S
I Thought What I Would Do Was, I'd Pretend To Be One Of Those Deaf Mutes
