I believe this my theory could be explained by a Punitz Square. Genetics are complicated but I'll try to shorten this so it's easy to explain. I believe being a Newman is a dominant trait so therefore if a human and newman breed there is greater chance for the offspring to be newman but genetics if often more statistics than science. If you have two newmans breed and being newman is supposedly superior(which very possibly means it's a dominant trait) then two dominants will result in the phenotype of newman (meaning 100% of the time the offspring will be newman) This is the same for humans two humans will make a human. But if a newman and human mate (or make sweet, sweet, love by the fire....sorry had to let the immaturity slip for a sec.
) and assuming the newmen phenotype is dominant then for the first child the chance of it being newman is 75% the second 50% and the third 25% until a human is born. Of course these are just statiscal chances. But in my opinion if a human and newman mate there is just no way the phenotype would allow for a "mixed breed" of human and newman because why would nature create a mixture of the two when it could just easily pick the superior of the two. I don't mean there is no possibilty of the two mixing, it's just that human genes don't work in that manner, and newmans were humans who were genes were altered to be better than the average human, thus nature would naturally would pick the better of the two.
Sorry if it sounds a little complicated but it's not really that hard to understand.
