Good points but we must think way back in PS history. When the first newman was made it was a she. aside from that, there was only one. Now I'm not quite sure but there are two ways to make assumptions, which is confusing to me because I didn't play the original PS games.

If she were the only newman made: She would have to mate with a human, and there would be a chance that any children she had would be Human-Newman, not to mention she would have to have lots of children so there would be less in-breeding in the future.

If there were more made: Than there would be pure newman for the most part.
