anyway getting back on topic, my RAmar uses Spread Needle, Frozen Shooter, Red Mechguns, and Yasminkov 3000R. The SN is weak though, but it fires quicker than normal shotguns. I like rifles the best, not only because of the speed like the SN, but because of their range.

Do they work on Ruins? I have no idea what you mean, you can only find it from a Booma. For Hrad mode its 1/427 with many IDs, not sure about V Hard.

why wouldn't they...
there's no weapon that doesnt work on only certain monsters...

The coolest guns are the mechguns. think about it GuldMilla and other uber cool uber powerful guns are all Mechs. You cant not like them they are the most powerful. sure i use M&A60 Vise but a lvl 47 Ramarl kills VHard Guil Sharks In two-three shot attacks

i have a hell laser with 35% hit (haven't tried it yet though) and a hell raygun with 50% hit, and that thing allows new characters to get to vh in a day.
i think the mechguns are the best as long as you have enough atp to do more than 0 damage. they do 9 hits and are great for knocking back enemies, the only problem is the range, but the 9000M covers that.
