I was also obsessed with the Inuyasha PS1 game until I actually played it. Cuz ya see, when you can beat Naraku using Shippou... you know you've mastered the game. That and the English subtitles were wrong. Naraku would be talking and say somthing like 'Inuyasha' or somthing like that, and the subtitle wouldn't mention it.

thats because it's a name, subtitling is like that often, they tend not to mention names in subtitles because it is obvious what they are saying.
PSO is a game of my past but those I came in contact with are still a part of me.

That was just a bad example, but my point was the subtitle job sucked royally.

That's the only thing that I ever care about when I buy anime. I can't stand bad subtitling. I can stand bad quality picture and low volume output (like on DVDs). I guess you could say I was obsessed with good subtitling. Until I learn Japanese, but that could be a while. I think I might just try to teach myself.

thats what ive been doing (well ive picked up enough...) however since that japanese class is closed this semester at college, we will just have to wait before we get a formal education. I'm starting to realize im fairly obsessed with Japanse culture, i really wanna learn the language for starters...

I've been obsessing over that for about 2 years now.

I'm gonna use some money from graduation to get myself a self teaching book on Japanese. Even if it's just the basics I'll have somewhere to start from. It'll give me something to do during the hours of boredom I will experience during summer.
