Heh, thanks Kitsi. How many...? I've lost count, to be truly honest with you. Right now I'm helping Rena with one she said is going to be called "I Hate The Wars"

I can't remember if I've posted this before or not... But anyway. This is the first part of a fanfic I wrote, which I'm going to be working on more in the future.

Ragol & Her Delights

After hearing about the explosion, I didn't know what to think. We lost all contact with the surface of Ragol, and also with Pioneer 1. And yet, even after all of this, we still circle the planet. It’s been three years since the explosion, and still we just drift around the planet Ragol. Then all of a sudden, the principal of Pioneer 2's residential and Hunter districts called out to any who would listen. A plea, to find his daughter Rico, whom had been aboard Pioneer 1. With that, I found myself picking up the gauntlet, and heading for the surface of Ragol. Until now, my only combat experience had been in the Virtual Reality Temple, and Spaceship, provided by the science department of Pioneer 2, to train hunters for the perils they may face. I wasn't old enough to go to Ragol with the first waves of Hunters. They had it so much tougher, as it was before the VR Labs were established, and so all they could rely on was their own abilities.

All of this replayed in my mind as I felt my feet touch the solid ground of a dense forest on Ragol. Taking a quick look around my surroundings, I gathered my position. It seems quiet enough, I guess. Taking one last look at the teleporter behind me, I silently prayed that I wouldn't be alone. But after a few minutes, it became apparent that I would be alone, for now at least.
After a few minutes, I decided that nobody else was coming. I turned from the teleporter, and took a deep breath.

I guess I should have stayed at the guild. At least until some others decided to take up this quest. As I glanced around nervously, as I tried to remember why I was here in the first place. Fifteen years ago I was taken away from my home planet. Our planet, Corel, was dying. Its energies had been depleted, and the scientists had said that within two years, the planet would become nothing but a wasteland, where nothing could live. All I remember about boarding Pioneer 2 is holding my stuffed kitten tight, and crying as we left our house behind. Twelve years later, I began training to become a Ranger, and finally passed the final tests. Then there was the explosion, and after that...nothing.

A twig snapped. Instinctively I pulled free my Varista. It was a present from my late boyfriend, who was killed in the mines of Ragol last year. I cherish it, and will never allow it to be taken from me. I turned cautiously towards the direction of the sound, and almost fainted on the spot. A giant creature stood there. It looked vaguely like a gorilla, but it had horns, and its arms were massively disproportionate to its body. Great, just my luck. I've seen these before, but...only in the VR chambers. I don't have a clue how strong this thing is in reality.
