the PS2 version is better than PC, there's never lag (unless youre on dial-up) because the game isnt allowed to run faster than 56K. So people who lag dont lag you. And the Graphics are better because they use the max capability the PS2 has (unlike PC where it can very depending on your Graphics card, etc). The only downfall to PS2 is that fact you need to get the harddrive and keyboard. And most the PS2 users are idiot jackasses which earned most PS2 users a bad name. I'm looked well upon by most people because im not a noob, moron PS2 user. Oh and the community in that game is insanely considerate. If youre hurt and resting, i'd say 75% of the time, a white mage youve never seen before will come and heal you. If somebody you know dies, you can shout (which lets everybody in the whole area youre in hear what you say) that you need a Raise(thats a white magic spell for level 25 and up which is hard to get) and most of the time, youll get a mage who dropped what they were doing and ran all that way to revive you. If youre getting the crap kicked out of you by a monster and you call for help, a ton of people will help you even though no one will get exp (that happens if you call for help). Very few people are jackasses and dont help out strangers, but the ones that are, are usually the PS2 users, hence the bad rep.

You are right, most PS2 users are, sadly, morons. But obviously, you aren't. Well, either you are very persuasive, or I am swayed too easily, but now I want the PS2 version. I wish I was rich, so I could buy both .
But, since I would have to buy a lot more for the PS2 version, I am gonna buy the pc version, hopefully it will work.
Thanks again!

I got some bad news, Lionheart...
Since all my credit card purchases go through my oh-so-loving parents, I need approval. And, they opted for the $8.95 fee of PSO rather than FF XI. Well, at least I get something! Sucks, I gotta pay for it lol.
Kinda a bummer, I was looking forward to the new FF, well, maybe someday.

Hey Lionheart, doesn't FF XI pick your server for you? So, even If I got it, there would have been a good chance I wouldn't be on your server....
I don't like that, not one bit .

not exactly Kiweki, you can get someone who's already online in the server you want to get you whats called a "world pass", basically its a, like, 10-14 digit number (i forget the exact amount) and if you enter it when you make your char, you will go to that server. I could get you onto Ragnarok which is the most populated server by far. That has it's ups and downs, more morons, but there's always people to party with (but you have a 50:50 chance of your party being noobs or jackasses). Oh and Gotien, read the rest of the thread and that'll answer your question...

Getting parties can be a real pain, though. I watched Lionheart try to get in a party for over half an hour and only found 3 people. I'd much rather level up on my own than have to wait so long for a party. Actually, I'd much rather Lizard Train than wait for a party. Heh heh, Lionheart.... remember....... Lizard Train.......

omg...that was so scary, and then you made me rest in front of that goblin! I had, what, 9 lizards, 2 Star bats, and a goblin chasing me -.-;; If i didnt get that random cure from that random White Mage, i wouldve died while zoning. I prefer Solo leveling as well njd, however, once you hit a certain point, the only areas you're strong enough to solo in give you crap exp and the areas that give you good exp you need to Party in. I HATE waiting myself (but now that I'm a White Mage, thats not an issue as I'm in high demand) but unfortunately it's necessary.
