Preconceptions?

Ive played with a Focast, beast Force, and even a few Hu casts. I have no problem with people being what they want. Only thing I ask is that if we have several Forces I let the one with the stronger resta do the healing so it saves pp for the forces.

This attitude better not be here to stay. It was pretty bad in FFXI. :/ It wasn't that bad in WoW though, so let's hope it's like that. I guess with WoW there's not a completely free choice but meh, it's a decent enough comparsion.

It was HORRIBLE in FFXI. I got booted from so many parties for having a THF sub on my Elvaan NIN, instead of WAR.

If that happens in this game, I will physically cry.

However, when Expert Classes come out, we call all laugh at their All-Roundedness. ForteFighter ftw!

i havent been online yet and wont be for a while (maybe not till after xmas) so im not to clued up on all the new classes and stuff.
part of the joy with PSO when it came out on DC was no one knew anything so people helped eachother all the way.

i just hope that when i go on i dont get people calling me a nOOb.
because at the end of the day just get along and help people, its a CO OP game for gods sake, these people who do call other players noobs are just stupid geeks with no life who get a high off of putting other people down...in a virtual world.

I only have one thing to say about it.

Oh me oh my, i'm playing a human, I MUST be an utter noob. Tch, people like that make me sick. I'll play how I damn well like, and if they don't like it, just say screw it and find a better party. I wonder how much worse it would get if I were to show off my main characters FOrce abilities? As Shifty said, this is a co-operative game. Therefore, forget being a total a*s about what type of character everyone is playing, and do what the game was made for. To have fun playing games with people all around the world. Hells...

just play the game, its sad because prejudice is all around us in reality but in a game you should leave life behind you and just get on with having fun with the game and people you will probably never meet from around the world!

I think people who judge others on their choices, for basically any reason, should just mind their own business! Why does it matter to them what race/class combination someone chooses to use?! If you don't like the FOcast who joins your party every once in a while, boot him for god's sake, but don't tell him he's wrong for playing the game the way its supposed to be played! I mean, the point isn't to find the most super-duper insane 2k damage for every hit class/weapon/whatever, its to pick your own race and class, your own fighting style, and your own way of playing! It's just plain mean-spirited!

I agree with you there, but if someone is pooey enough to beat up on the unique person, then I'd think they wouldn't even have to think before pressing the kick button! You are right though, even though ' dude, you're a FOcast' isn't really a good reason to tell someone why they're being kicked, but still, its better than not giving a reason at all!

I'm just sat in the PPT spaceport on G-colony, and I saw something that made me laugh a bit.

It was pretty funny, but does show that there are some players that think that what they play as is the biggest and best =/
