Sorry, I originally thought from your response that you had used it before. Well, thanks for trying to help though... hopefully the person you have in mind will know what to do. I tried again just a few minutes ago, my settings look like they should be fine. I'll tamper with it again when I get some more free time I suppose.

Yeah, it would be nice if it were as simple as that. In my case it would have been "Apple/Command"+Shift+3.

On a side note, I am also a beta tester/advocate and a VERY part-time code contributor for this program called "Crossover." It is a version of Wine for Mac OS X and for anyone interested, PSO: Blue Burst does run and can connect to servers with it from my experience. But it is too laggy and crashes way too often to be playable at the moment.
But yeah, for taking screenshots of the Gamecube game it is a much more difficult task it seems.

When i was attempting to get online with my GC i asked how to use properly PSO Proxy, i was told to do a barrel roll. What you could also do is connect your TV to your PC and your GC to your TV, that way you can run a recording program or take SS's on your comp and it will still be there (ive heard of this working with amazing results)

Shoshi Wrote:Well, PSOProxy either no longer works or I set something up incorrectly. It looks like it might need to make use of Sonic Team's uploading site, but maybe not. I even tried it without the router, the ports were opened so I doubted it was the router... but you never know. It was still a no go though. I've read that there is a way to have it upload directly to your computer using PSOProxy but I have not been able to get that to work. Anyone have any experience in this or ideas?
-- I've also tried pso.donut.dhs.org to no avail, I always get a "Could Not Retrieve URL" error or something similar that basically means it cannot reach the site for some reason.
Kefka made a guide to setting up PSOProxy.

Thanks Phantom_RAcast, I think this might be the guide I saw on some other site. I read through it and I've tried that exact method. For some reason the browser is refusing to go to any site really. Strange thing is that I can connect to servers fine, and even connect to my own server.
-- Bmil, I might try that. I have done the opposite in the past with my older computers (project the computer screen onto the television.). It would probably be easier to just run the Gamecube cables to the computer though, wouldn't it? Gamecubes run at 720x480 and are capable of 480i I believe... Seems possible perhaps... I'll look into it! Only issues I could see are distorted pictures or the need for excessive cropping and the like... but we'll see!
Now that the official servers are down it is okay to mention private servers on the forums, correct?

No problem at all, I really appreciate that a lot of people here are trying to help me out!
Now I am going to feel really stupid if this is the reason why it will not work... But would having PSO+ possibly be the issue? I doubted that it would since I can log onto private servers just fine... but it was just something that came to mind.
*dudemanozzy's account vanishes due to the excessive mention of schthack* heheh
