For any of you who are/were in the loop, he's talking about SOAPS (acronym for slide on a plain surface... really!), or, for people who don't know what grinding even is, if you've seen skateboards slid on a rail, that's grinding. SOAPS are like that except no skate board.

SOAPS stands for what Vahn said Sliding On A Plain Surface. Its what Sonic wears in SA2 and onwards.
And they also cost quite alot of money, ranging from £50 to £130. For trainers aargh!
