I use MSN dialup and it works fine, my friend had to change from AOL over to MSN because AOL wouldn't work with PSO for some reason and when we called AOL customer service they said they have nothing to do with online gaming on Gamecube (it was a lousy machine telling this).

Also, AOL will work with the Modem (56k) service. ICS works fine with dial up or broadband.
Doesn't ICS require a BBA though? Or is there a way to plug an ethernet cable into the modem? o_O

Sorry about the tone of my last message, it just annoys me that there is so much spamming in these forums, so when I come to a tech support topic to find more there, it's teh annoying! >.<

well i was talking about a straightforward way, of course you can dance around the issue. Its possible to use the proxies of online ads to get online if you have AOL but that violates SEGAs TOS and you will be booted as soon as they find out. You cannot just plug in your modem or BBA and hope to get on with AOL. And for your sake, Omar, i hope you werent refering to me with that statement...

EDIT: sorry didnt catch the last 2 lines of your last post before i posted this. I get touchy when people question my integrity and, even though you didnt directly, i thought you meant me.

The modem plugs into the pc via ethernet, usb or a serial port. The gamecube connects to the pc via an ethernet cable from the BBA to the pc's LAN card. Setup ICS on the pc and voila Smile

Cool! So the BBA works fine with a 56k connection? Would doing it through your pc like that cause some uber lag? (especially as they are already on 56k! >.<)
