As a previous poster stated, I never got quite so into Metroid as with Zelda or something similar.
There are a few similarities with Ocarina of Time, mostly the wonderful exploration and powering up, that make me enjoy it more.
Other than that though, I find it too daunting to back-track all of the place, and it is quite hard. I still haven't finished it!

Well I think it will be the best game for the Gamecube to come out. (Next to PSO, that will still be on top for me.) You are extiltd to your opinion, that I can't change. I respect other peoples opinioins.

I'm one of the biggest fans of Metroid you'll find. I love all of the Metroid games with a passion and am planning on getting Echoes all too soon.

Well Double Edge u will be glad to know that it is amazing!! I just got it Yesterday as an early gift and man it didn't take long to get in the Cube. The grafics have been tweeked just right, loads of new enemies and moves. Screw attack that old school but it's back and better then ever. Dark, Light, and Annilator(sp?) beams are to die for or from if your on the recieving end. All in all an amazing game.

Just a quik update. Just did teh first boss last night, and wow they are so freaking huge. They tower over Samus, to aim at their head u have to be far back and still aiming up a little. "Droils ""must go play"" runs over starts playing comes back an hour later then posts reply."

Thinking back I didnt really go nuts for metroid but since playing prime and echoes that has drastically changed. Prime rocked and echoes kills...all i gotta say is dark samus is one freaky adversary...

Yes, Dark Samus is cool but hard to beat the first time. The hardest boss I found so far is the one guarding your Boost Ball. All the boss that guard your item will normally use it against you. For example the Morph Ball Bomb Guardian lays bombs as it moves aound the room.
