I have kinda mixed views on this, generally against duping though ...

Duping sucks, its not an actual intended part of the game. People who dupe, or who use dupes, suck and should burn in hell. Using dupes defeats the entire purpose of the game. Many people spend hours looking for certain rares, and people who have mass duped items have totally ruined the worth of certain rares, whats the point ?

I've heard loads of stories of how people get corrupted and then just switch over to being a duping n00b... I have never personally been fully corrupted, but ive lost my fair share of items through FSOD etc.

I don't know what to say to people who used to be really well kitted out with some nice legit items, and then get corrupted, so just switch to using dupes, cause if you loose them it doesn't matter right?

It's Game fault VS Game fault ; People shouldnt get corrupted, and people shouldnt dupe... it's like some vicious circle. Personally i think all dupers/dupe users should burn, but im trying to keep an open mind for the people who actually have been severely corrupted.

Why spend hours on a game thats just gonna screw you eventually? Because its easy to get back to where you were. I think most people start off legit, but then once they get corrupted, switch to dupes... Sega should've stored Characters on Servers to solve both problems!

I cudnt agree more with u there junon, ve made all very good point, if SEGA didnt want people to dupe, then they should have made a way to duplicate peoples characters in case of such events. Like u said they should have made the game so it can store your characters on their servers, or even better, at least made it able for you to copy your character file and the rest of your PSO saved game info on the memory card over to another memory card, then at least people can have spares if worst comes to worst.

But then you would have millions of the same chracters online.
Because if a guy let someone copy it there would be the same chracter with the same stuff and then it will start to spread.
SAGA can't take that risk.

Anyway, if people played it how their supposed to play it!

Then ok u cudnt copy the Network data, which means u cudnt go online if u just had the character data becos u need the serial number, and surely each character has a number, and if the number is detected twice, only one can go online, and if u use ure game properly u wudnt want to let it fall in2 the rong hands!

Its just an idea!
