well, the ID affects the rare drops you get, but not the disks, materials, ect. (unless you're playing DC. in which case, go buy a GC)

on the DreamCast (lol typing "Cast" made me think of RAcasts) if you were a pinkal you would get better techs, and some other ID's were better for finding different materials. on the EP 1&2 that was changed so that every ID finds techs and materials equally.

each ID also gets different rares from different ememies in different difficluties, as i hope you know.

finally, if you still own a DreamCast you should buy the GameCube and PSO+ because it is inexpensive and a gazillion times better than that so called game system Microsoft made

WHITILL gives you a higher chance of finding HIGH LEVEL disks, so while most would find a Foie Level 1, you'd probably find a Foie Level 2.
