there is a way to copy your chars.
1. hook it up with a computer (dont tell me how, but there are programs out there to do it)
2. get an usb-mem. then you can just hook the memorycard up the ur pc and copy it over.
corruption sucks.
I lost a lvl152 , a lvl 85, a lvl 76 and a lvl around 50-ish.
ohwell. I bet you'll be up at ult pretty quick if you consentrate on one char only. worked for me...

Silent Bob.... You are god. Nobody has EVER known how to do this. But one problem. Does it work for the gamecube version? Cause thats what I have... :'(
Tell me if this methiod will work...
1) Go multi with a friend.
2) Give him my items.
3) Save and turn off the game.
4) On my third party level 29 char., cancel the transfer.
5) Go on my friends card that has my chars. temp and transfer it back to slot B only have the first party card in it.
6) The temp data is now retured to slot B only the char. is new to it.

Ack man, I feel for ya. I can relate, to both PSO 1+2, and 3 it happened once each. Of course, neither were my fault. Anyway, sorry man.

Todd, that method will not work, it will say that it requires the original card in slot B. It won't transfer to any other card (I believe I already said this).

I know howe it feels and i'm very sorry for you cuz it truly sucks. When I was corrupted the first time it was like a train hitting me in the face and it hurt cuz I lost my first charecter ever But now what I do in case of coruption is that I have two mem cards and I have Charecters trained on both so if one were to get ..... thenm On my other card I have somne charecters to play with.
Whats life without someone to risk it for...?

ive had a theory about not copying characters per se but transferring them permanently to another memory card using a copy of plus but as of yet i havent been able to test it out .

the theory would require characters made on plus or at least i think mind you its a theory and probably has many cracks and holes. Step one take all the characters that you want to move from your original mem card and send them to another as temp files in the multiplayer mode from this point go to quit game and turn off the system leaving them as transferred chars. Step 2 delete all pso data from the original mem card. Step three taking a third brand new mem card create new pso data but make no characters just create the save data that registers the time and such. Step four go to another multiplayer game with the newest card and the one they were transferred to in theory you should be able to put them back seeing as all the information would be the same. Now mind you this is a theory i am by no means saying it works or will work for you its just something ive thought of ill test it when i manage to buy two brand new cards.
