they ban books all the time, mostly from schools only though, I think. They banned a book that suggested homosexuality from elementary schools because they didn't think kids should be exposed to that (but thats not graphic violence; however I am sure there is a case for violence ). While I agree with it in some regards, tv basically defeats the purpose of doing that since sex, drugs, violence etc are all over and it have come time that people take control and responsibility for their actions instead of blaming these things.

Everyone takes a video game seriously a couple of times....thier has been many cases of people killing over video games....well killing BLAMING it on video games...Example...

there was a kid that killed EVERYone in his household...and blamed it on Diablo2.....Those of you that have played this game, should be wondering how? He said they were demons and had to be destroyed.....

GTA is so much fun. After playing that game and driving I began to think that maybe if I passed that car on the shoulder or went over the median I might get home faster. Good thing I didn't actually do it though eh?

The thing about the guy killing the other guy over the MMORPG isn't so suprising to me. People kill, get married and die by the way of MMO's such as Everquest and Mir. But the turtle thing is insanely ridiculous. I would really like to see the "Turtle Rampage" for myself and as for that kid, although he's probably deeply disturbed, he has the most amusing ideology on life I've ever heard.

The interesting thing to think about here is the fact that people blame video games when these thing happen. It's not like the virtual being crawled into your head and took control of your brain. People just look for a scapegoat, and find videogames. I hate it.
