I'm having a problem choosing my level 50 mag, which ever I chose it comes up as

That has nothing to do with the MAG, it means you havent selected which platforms you play Phantasy Star Online on, which is complusory if you want to change anything in your profile page Tongue

Nothing you need to worry about anytime soon...when your mag reaches level 50, you can choose a different type...
