My friend got a whole 2 months out of a wavebird and he left it on overnight this one time to. It does not drain the batteries fast my friend, + its just 2 AA.

I bought my WaveBird back at the end of February and I've replaced the batteries five times I think..... but I think one time I forgot to turn it off, and I went on a camping trip the next morning so it was turned on for about 1.5 days before I got back home and started to play to find the batteries already dead. It's definitely worth getting a WaveBird!
Too legit to quit.

Yes wavebirds rock! get one! I have not played on my GC that much :'( but the last time the battires ran out on mine was a year ago. the problem was it started to play up a bit before it ran out..and it started to play up just after I dropped some pasta source on it >.<. I thought I broke it >.<. we evan tryed to take it apart but were unssuscessful but I finaly relasied to cheack the battiries. and then it worked...
