There is an online .hack game coming out, just that it's name isn't Fragment. Maybe like...Fragment 2? XD
Oh, you mean his third form, where he can use a scythe in addition. There is a form after that, though, where adept rogues can use a steam gun as well. I'd imagine they also look different. It's a shame the level cap in vol. 1 was 50! XD I'm pretty sure those shadows in the preview for volume 2 are the two other azure knights. And yes, Endrance joins your party in the second.
I guess there aren't many, if any higher level broadswords like the legged...I used it for the whole game. Guess it's high time I got used to the eartquake swords.
The anime teaches alot about the characters, I think even Gaspard and Silabus make an appearance. Thus far, been introduced to Haseo, Ovan, Shino, Pi, Yata, Kuhn, and well, Tri-edge since episode 16.
Now I'm in the mood to play some...guess I'll level up my weapons, maybe get further with those Ryu books...

You forgot about Tabby she shows up in one of the later games. 
Maybe the fragment game will be based on the G.U. version of the series.
A highest level broadsword in version 1 is the Broad Wing. I found the first one in a lv. 50 dungeon after that they could be gotten through trades. Make sure to complete the bounty hunter quest. If beat 50 PKs and all of the blacklist PKs then you'll get a powerful twinblade called Reaper's blade. It's alot better than the other high level twin blade if you ask me. I wonder how can you crash your motorcycle, I tried running into buildings,people, monsters and trees.

I'll keep that in mind. Are the blacklisted bounties in any given area, or certain parameter areas? And I found out weapons cap at 10...so not much happened there for me.
Tabby? I liked her, she was cute, with her tail...coming out of her...hair.
Yeah, the Broad Wing is common, I have mine at +5, but I preferred using my Wrath Legged instead for a while. Super Chainsaw Action. XD
Oh, the online game coming out is called .hack//GU Fragment. Pretty Original...Guess you were right.

The blacklist PKers show up in random battles. Just go to areas that have a high PvP (most often the caves) and you should run into them. Saddly you an only fight them one at a time. I found that after you defeat one of them go and collect the bounty then the next Blacklist character will show.
I was right about fragment...I..I don't know what to say YAHOO!!! Now if only it would come stateside then everything will be perfect.

Fragment and .hack//GU Fragment are two completely different games, though...
I think there are plans to bring it Stateside, so cross your fingers. What job would you wanna be? I might want to be either a Blade Brandier, or an Adept Rogue.
I wonder if Haseo's gonna lay off the Skeith screaming a bit in Volume 2. I guess it's a good thing he lives alone. Wonder what his parents would think hearing "OVAAAAAAAN'" and "SKEEEEEIIITH" every 10 minutes. Not to mention that one scene where he screams "stop" like 100 times. (Magus)
Any hints on where to find a Doppelganger?

The motorcycle crash thing is when you are riding it in an area. I believe it counts for crashing into crates and into monsters to start a battle.
I'm obsessed with .hack, erm G.U. and roots is amazing, very well put together, and erm Haseo and Shino rock, I'm a lil iffy about Ovan, he seems... too mysterious at the moment...
I believe Fragment only came out in Japan, I'm not sure about the G.U. Fragment though...

You learn alot about Ovan in Volume 2 from what I've heard.
Yes Fragment only came out in Japan, maybe half a year to a year or so before .hack//sign. As the anime/games suggest, Fragment bombed horribly, as I said in an earlier post. This was before US/EU even knew what .hack was, but at this point in time, it seems incredibly likely that this one will release overseas.
I love Haseo, but Shino not so much. I think she knows alot more than she lets off and always relates Haseo to Ovan. Overall I think deep down she's a canniving betch. XP

But yeah, a friend of mine is borrowing G.U. atm, so I can't play it, waaah lol but oh well at least I can rant at him now and he'll understand it xD

Atoli did get annoying at times she reminds me of Hotaru from Legend of the twilight.
